Day started out pretty nasty. It had drizzle all morning, but they decided to wait until around 10:00 to see if they were going to race. I went out there and they said they would wait until around 11-12 to set things up and see how it was. The temperature was in the mid to low 50's and kind od drizzled all day. They went ahead and ran, but there was not many showed up.

There were about 5 trucks total, not sure the count on cars, but was a good chance to drive and try the truck out. I had put a 8 port Sirio Engine in this week and needed some driving time on it as the motor was set up pretty rich. Ran about 2 tanks of fuel through it in practice, and tried to hit my marks for the back turn that goes into the straight. Truck pulled good and felt good. I ran 11 laps in the heat race, then in the Main race I ran 13 laps. This was a big improvement from my first time there, as I had only finished 10 laps in the main before.

Engine felt real strong. Was running 5 degrees camber in rear, and 4 in the rear, with 2mm of toe-in in both the front and back. This was due to the Maximizer wheels which seem to shift the foams to the inside, but truck seemed to hook up pretty good. Tried to drive without using brakes and just slowing in corners and nailing it through them.

Over all it was a good day, a free race, so didn't count it for points, but did win the race this day.
