Ran at Old Town on this day. It was the beginning of the Fall season, so I kind of wanted to get all off to a good start. Well, didn't start the way I wanted, but guess it came out ok. I was running the Dominator truck in the parking lot before race and slid it too far and hit the curb and knocked front A-Arm off the ball. Got it back on and noticed it sounded funny going across lot, so brought it in and thought the diffs were blown in it. Come to find out later that night it had just knocked the engine alignment out and I think it will be ok.

I ended up racing the T-Maxx with a 21/72 gear in it. Shifted and ran ok, but the track was a bit larger, about 210x90, and that was a long backstretch for that gearing. I qualified 2nd with 11 laps and Robert Spence qualified first with 12 laps. Race started out pretty good and ran ok. I cut off once in the middle but think that was when it went from one tank to the other and must get air in it and want to vapor lock it. Got all started, but lost some time, but ended up in second with Lee Rader winning, by only 9 seconds over me. I thought he was a lap ahead of me and I let him go on, (which I shouldn't have now) but thought the truck was so slow that he walked right around me. Also found the truck was spinning in a few corners. Later I learned that if I went full off throttle after hard breaking it took the turns fine, so each week I learn more.

Started the Fall season off good, with Lee with 100, me having 98 and Robert Spence with 97 since he got the TQ of the day. Hope to run the Dominator next week.
