SERVO LOCATION MODIFICATION

for Associated TC3

This is how I made the modifications to my TC3. You will find pictures of the different steps of the mod and the tools I used.

Why do it?

Because placing the servo a little more to the back gave me room to use any servo arm I want and to put the ball for the turnbuckle in front of the servo arm.

Safety!

PROTECT YOUR EYES, WEAR A DUST MASK and take your time.

THE TOOLS

Just an electric drill with a 7/64¨ drill bit and a ruler.

This is a very simple mod to make. Just drill two 7/64¨ holes 3/16¨ back of the original holes (fig. 1) and secure your servo using the new holes. You can now use any servo arm and put the ball and snap the turnbuckle in front of the servo arm ( fig. 2).
